Magic for primary schools

If you are a teacher planning a magic theme in school, a day of magic shows and/or workshops with me is a great way to engage and excite your students - they'll love seeing a "real" magician!

An incredibly inspirational start to our Reading is Magic Week. Mike inspired and enthused every child in the school with his entertaining and exciting magic tricks. We were delighted by the explicit links Mike made to encourage the children to engage with the reading theme and the curriculum links with maths too. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Magic days for primary schools

If your school is having a magic theme for a term, I can provide magical entertainment for individual classes, a year group - or even the entire school! Many teachers have me in for their years 3 or 4 when they're studying the book "Leon and the Place Between" - I play the part of a potential apprentice to Abdul Kazam, and have to audition for the role. The children then have to write to Abdul Kazam telling him whether they think he should hire me or not!

Mike was extremely helpful and accommodating during the booking process. On the day, he arrived with plenty of time to spare and instantly engaged our Year 4 classes (60 children).

Mike was very entertaining and kept the kids (and adults) enthralled with numerous tricks which amazed us all. He played the role of a nervous magician being interviewed for a job as Abdul Kazam’s assistant brilliantly and the kids truly believed it was all real.

It really helped engage them in their literacy for the term. One child said ‘this has been the best day of my life - I have never seen a magician before.’ Another said ‘he was awe-inspiring’ and many now want to learn magic for themselves.

We are really pleased to have worked with Mike and hope to have him back next year as part of our literacy unit on Leon and the Place Between.

WOW DAYS - entertainment for primary school

For your next WOW day, why not really have a "WOW!" experience by getting me in to entertain and inspire your students? With a combination of magic shows, magic workshops and balloon modelling, your students will have a day to remember for a long time!

Thank you very much on behalf of all the children, and my colleagues. They (the children) were absolutely absorbed by your show and workshops. All comments made were purely positive. Our thanks is to you, for spending the day entertaining us. It was an amazing day – thank you so much.
